Radio Norteverde Ovalle
Los aparatos de alta gama serán entregados en los próximos días a la PDI y a Carabineros y para estos efectos el personal de ambas instituciones, que estarán a cargo, recibió la capacitación por parte de la empresa Eseenergy SPA, para optimizar su funcionamiento en beneficio de la seguridad de la comuna.
El municipio de Ovalle adquirió dos drones que servirán para la seguridad de la comuna. Estos aparatos, de alta gama, serán entregados a la PDI y a Carabineros, quienes serán los encargados de manipularlos y a través de ellos, evitar delitos y monitorear cualquier tipo de emergencias y procedimientos policiales.
La inversión bordeó los 35 millones de pesos, los cuales fueron financiados con recursos propios del municipio de Ovalle. Los drones cuentan con autonomía de al menos 38 minutos, visión hacia abajo con sensores ultrasónicos de 716 mm, 220mm y 236mm. Además, tendrá un funcionamiento a una distancia máxima de 7 kilómetros, posee sensores frontales, inferiores y superiores con sistema tipo Flight Autonomy, los cuales detectan y esquivan obstáculos para un mejor vuelo y sensores infrarrojos, soporte WIFI, Tecnología Bluetooth, computador con sistema GPS y sistema de paracaídas de rescate. Esta adquisición también incluyó la capacitación para cuatro personas (2 de Carabineros y 2 de la PDI) y la tramitación para contar con la cédula de la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil para su manipulación.
La empresa encargada y que se adjudicó este derecho tras un proceso de licitación pública es Esenergy SPA, quienes realizaron la capacitación consistente en horas teóricas y prácticas, donde los funcionarios policiales conocieron las características y su proceso de vuelo. El alcalde Claudio Rentería participó de esta jornada e indicó que “los drones que adquirió la municipalidad son de suma importancia para la seguridad de todos, porque les permitirá a las policías monitorear sus procedimientos y a la vez detectar delitos flagrantes, lo que, claramente, se convierte en un aporte para ambas instituciones para su labor preventiva”.
En los próximos días el municipio de Ovalle realizará un acto oficial para la entrega de estos drones, tanto a Carabineros, como a la PDI.
